Our mission is simple: to provide honest, thoughtful, high quality workmanship for the benefit of our community and our ecosystems.
We provide wildfire fuels reduction to help lower fire severity and provide more protection for your home or business. We can meet Lane county building codes for fuel breaks around structures. Our approach is thoughtful, thorough and keeps the aesthetic beauty of your forest intact by not using a "scorched earth" tactic.
We specialize in the unique and important work of restoring and enhancing oak savanna, oak woodland, and mixed hardwood forest types. Very few operators have the skills and experience that we do when it comes to thinning and managing oak woodlands.
We specialize in thinning operations for restoration, fire hazard reduction and oak release. We are available to cut timber or other trees as needed for market, on-site milling, timber framing or habitat structures. We take the time to fell trees accurately and thoughtfully to reduce any residual stand damage.
We provide mowing, chipping, and hand work as needed to create and maintain firebreaks, access routes. We also work with experienced machine operators to to provide heavy brush cutting when the need arises.
We have the experience to safely implement various methods of biochar creation. Biochar is not for every site, but if you have a garden or agricultural land, then biochar could have some important benefits for you as a soil amendment.
We are experienced chainsaw operators ready for your storm cleanup, firewood processing or trail clearing needs. We often have access to lots of firewood, or we know who does- Just ask us!
We have access to hundreds of acres of forest comprised of a multitude of species. We can harvest and cut to order many sizes and lengths of peeled Douglas-fir poles for your custom building projects.
We protect and enhance important ecosystems through thoughtful tending. We want to hear your ideas and your needs, and we are eager to address your concerns regarding land management. We can help you better understand the land upon which you live. We encourage landowners to open up land to cultural use by local native people who often need access to harvest important materials.
We maintain current NWCG fire qualifications and are available for burn support, mop-up & patrol, or creation of containment lines. Our crew believes in fire as a great management option and we support the cultural use of fire by native people.
